Anyway, last March, I planted some basil plants. When I went home to Texas for Christmas, I was going to be gone one week with no way to water them... so I decided to kill them and make pesto!
So here is a picture of my plants before:

I took all the basil:
Put most of it into a blender:
...with olive oil, salt, parmesan, pine nuts, and garlic and blended until smooth:
It was DELICIOUS!
